REVIEWS OF BOOKS I’VE READ
“Lily
His name was Cayden, and he was a golden boy, an instant hit with everyone I knew.
But the mask chipped and cracked in front of me, and I saw underneath.
If I hadn’t, maybe everything would have been different.
Maybe he would have let me go.
I guess I’ll never know.
I saw him, and I can never change that.
Most importantly…. he saw me.”
Sometimes I really need a good bully romance and this book delivered that! Lily and Cayden are such strong characters that grow and change throughout the story, giving the book satisfying life. Add in the spiciness and the domineering hotness of a hockey god and I’m in!
“He wants revenge, but he wants her more…
James has always had one agenda: destroy his enemy, Peter Michaels. When Peter’s twenty-year-old daughter Wendy shows up in James’s bar, he sees his way in. Seduce the girl and use her for his revenge. It’s the perfect plan until things in James’s organization begin to crumble. Suddenly, he has to find the traitor in his midst, and his plan for revenge gets murkier as James starts to see Wendy as more than just a pawn in his game.”
HOLY SH—This book drew me in completely. It was so dark, dirty, and morally intriguing. I don’t usually recommend books to other people, but I’ve suggested this to many people. The connections to Peter Pan were fun to find throughout the book. Plus, the romance chef’s kiss. Beware - this book does have very dark themes - but maybe we need that escape sometimes.
When Morgan, a seemingly normal bookworm stumbles upon a missing book, she is thrust into a new world filled with dangerous fae, including Drago, a dragon-shifter-god.
This book was deliciously fun, action-packed, and smutty as hell. Morgan and Drago are exact opposites but in a satisfying way. If you want a book that you can read in one sitting and feel a wide range of emotions, this one is for you.
